RevereWareParts is dead; long live RevereWareParts

I took the summer off hoping come fall and with some traveling under my belt I would be motivated to reopen the store and continue to sell these parts.  Unfortunately, the summer brought some major opportunities in my other businesses, and I just don’t have a lot of energy to keep this one going as well.  Additionally, my fulfillment center informed me just before summer started that they were retiring their API and I had to switch to an new one, which would cost many thousands of dollars to have developers handle.  That helped me make the decision to permanently close the door. 🙁  I know many of you have been waiting for the store to reopen at the end of summer, but alas, it is not to be.

I’ve had a good run, providing replacement parts for 15 years, selling around 150,000 parts to almost 100,000 customers.

And answering I can’t even begin to guess how many questions that people have about Revere Ware, the history of Revere Ware, problems with their Revere Ware, etc.  I’ve tried to just help people wherever possible.  Add to that over 500 blog posts on all things Revere Ware.

This doesn’t need to be the end for Revere Ware replacement parts, I just need to pass the torch to someone else, as for me, the chapter is closed.

I have many tens of thousands of replacement parts still that I am happy to sell to someone that wants to continue to offer them for sale.  You can even copy my product listings which I will continue to leave up.

If you are interested, please note that I will be selling a minimum of 5,000 parts at a time.  If someone wants to buy everything I have at once, I don’t mind. 🙂

You could have at least continued for a couple of months so people could stock up for future breaks I was planning on buying a handle for each pot. I am really disappointed!

I’ve sold these parts for 15 years …

I would have but right after I shut down for the summer my fulfillment contractor informed me I needed to upgrade to continue to use their service, at the cost of thousands of dollars, which a couple of months of profits would not cover.

I understand the cost. I started collecting revere ware in the mid 1970s. It is only within the last year that the handles have started to break. I had replaced one handle then when another broke I went to your site and you were already closed for the summer. If I had know I would have order more.

Is there any person, place or distributor that you know of, that supplies the items you used too ?
Or, where you the only one ?

    • RevereWareParts August 25, 2024 at 9:32 pm #

I developed all the replacement parts and was the only reseller, so unfortunately they are not available anywhere else. In all likelihood someone will step up to purchase the parts wholesale and start offering them for sale again. Please be patient.

Dear Lord, I sure hope so. I’m in need of a top for my tea kettle.

    Hi:

I just want to thank you for posting all of this great information about Revere Ware. I am particularly grateful for the care instructions for my own set of Revere Ware. I loved reading all the history on Revere Ware companies. I appreciate all the work that went into this website and hope you will keep it active for some time.

I’m so sorry to see you close! The information on your website is invaluable!! Will the history and such still be available?

    • RevereWareParts August 31, 2024 at 9:49 am #

Yes, we plan on leaving the site up.

      • Ana October 31, 2024 at 7:02 pm #

Great site and an excellent endeavor. But I would strongly recommend that you state the closure of the business on the home page and every page. I was very excited to find this site and spent a lot.of time choosing products for my my 45-year old Revere Ware which is barely starting to show signs of wear and tear only to discover after umpteen clicks that you are no longer in business.

Thanks. I had missed that some of the messages on the product pages were still showing the closed for the summer message. I fixed that.

You did a great job. I too need a replacement handled for a 1-quart saucepan. I hope you’re & someone will step up & start selling the parts again. As you advised, I will be patient. Best of luck with your future endeavors.

Sorry to see you go. So what’s the alternative? If you are willing to sell the parts you have, how does on purchase them?

    • RevereWareParts August 31, 2024 at 8:50 am #

Please use the contact form if you are interested in purchasing the parts in bulk at a minimum of 5,000 parts per order.

Hi, I didn’t know that you were closing as your business came up in a web search. I purchased 2 parts, which I’m not going to receive. Who took payment and how do I retrieve my money?

    • RevereWareParts September 1, 2024 at 9:03 am #

This was a mistake; our store reopened due to a technical glitch but we no longer have any fulfillment capability. Refunds have been issued for the handful of orders that were placed.

How do i know if my 10″ -91c Revereware frying pan is aluminum or stainless steel.

    • RevereWareParts November 14, 2024 at 8:58 am #

Revere Ware never made a pan that had an aluminum cooking surface. They did use aluminum as a sandwich material to help spread the heat, like in the Tri-Ply line. They also made non-stick pans out of aluminum, but the cooking surface was Teflon. So if you have a Revere Ware pan that has a stainless steel looking cooking surface, it is stainless steel.

I inherited my mother’s set of RevereWare, some of which belonged to my grandmother. They are priceless, timeless, and dependable to say the least. I recently found a gem at a local Goodwill store and brought it home. It’s a dutch-oven style pot (at least 5 or 6 quarts) with the lid, for $8.00!! This RevereWare piece is in great condition, except the top, swinging handle has a rusty, corroded screw. The handle is still in good shape, but I have a question for you or anyone that may know. Were the 2 small screws placed with any kind of repelling or protective sealant or type of ring, that could be used with a replacement screw, to avoid future rusting?

    • RevereWareParts November 14, 2024 at 8:56 am #

No, nothing like that was ever used. The way to prevent rusting is to remove the handles periodically and clean the insides out and make sure they are dry, and apply a little oil or grease to the outside of the hardware.

Why doesn’t Corning Glass (which purchased Revere Ware) offer replacement parts!!

    • RevereWareParts October 17, 2024 at 8:44 am #

The Revere Ware brand has a bit of a sordid history after the 80’s. Since the mid 80’s they have gone through two bankruptcies and the brand has traded hands a number of times. After it changed hands in 2018 they discontinued the brand. They haven’t sold replacement parts since the late 1980’s. The brand was recently bought by a private equity company and they seems to be working on a resurrection but it will doubtfully include replacement parts for the legacy products.

While collecting a bunch of pre-1968 RW I’ve passed on a lot of post-1968. Now I’m thinking it’s time to pick up some newer stuff to strip off the parts.

I just wanted to thank you. I just used your RevereWare.org eBay finder website to find an American made Revere Ware 2qt Kettle for $20. Thanks for keeping that going.

Are you still opened? I would like to buy some parts. Please don’t close. People really love you. Can you let me know if you are still open so I can order some parts. Thank you

    • RevereWareParts November 14, 2024 at 8:53 am #

Sadly, no. After 15 years it was time to move on.

      • H Cook December 15, 2024 at 9:47 am #

Very sad to hear it, as I am in desperate need of lid knobs (not 5,000 of them though). I hope someone will pick up your torch. Have you reached out to any parts places? Best wishes, and I’m sorry I learned about you too late.

  15. Kathy Keane November 21, 2024 at 4:06 am #

I’m sorry that you’re closed but thanks for doing what you did for so long. I hope someone else picks up the business. Best to you!

Very sorry to learn of your closing. I was searching for the screw rivet for the large saucepan handle. Can you give me the length of the longer screw rivet, and do you know if the screw rivets they sell at the hardware store will work?

Thank you for the service you provided all these years. Revere Ware is worth maintaining.
